Admittedly, the fact that Hogwarts Legacy doesn't feature Quidditch is a little disappointing for Harry Potter fans, but that's made up for by the presence of the elements associated with it. For example, it is possible to fly on a broomstick, which is very convenient for traversing such a large open world. Also, you will be able to unlock more features by completing the flight class side quest during the sixth act of the game.
Once you have learned to fly, you will need to buy your own broom in Hogsmeade, at the Bôbalais store. The vendor called Albie Weekes will ask you to collect flight data near the Quidditch pitch at Hogwarts. This is how the quest entitled Flight Tests will be launched and will lead you to put into practice all the flight techniques transmitted by Madame Kogawa.

Beat Imelda's record in the Hogwarts Legacy Flight Test side quest
To pass this test, you will have to complete the challenge of defeating Imelda Reyes, a student at Hogwarts. She holds the record for having finished the race in 2'20”, a time to beat if you want to succeed in Albie's quest. Here are some tips to help you get there if you're struggling.
It's a significantly longer course than what you practiced during the flight course, with 22 rings in total. Each missed ring results in a three-second penalty. It is therefore necessary to do your best to pass all the rings, even if at worst two minutes are enough to go around the course, with one or two penalties for missed rings here and there.
But still it is necessary to know that the yellow orbs which one finds along the course also represent a big difference. They not only serve as an optimal running line for the participants, but they also recharge the stamina bar and give an extra burst of speed. You will therefore need to align your broomstick with each set of three rings to ensure that you are propelled towards the next ring and not away from it.
If you manage to hit enough orbs, you'll be able to hold down both triggers for the duration of the run, guaranteeing you a time of less than two minutes. When you manage to beat Imelda's time, you'll need to talk to her, then return to Albie's Hogsmeade to turn in the quest. For the completion of this quest, you will be entitled to 180 XP points, then you can access another side quest later in the game.
